Noble Fish offers more than just great sushi at reasonable prices. Stop in for some remarkable sushi and find many traditional Japanese stable goods in our grocery area including everything needed for making your own sushi at home, from bamboo mat to sushi rice seasoning. There is also a selection of Japanese gifts, health and beauty care, and kitchen goods!
Have been going for over 22 years and have always been treated like family. As a kid I rode my skateboard up there with my brother, and Guchi used to give us candies and sodas. To this day he recognized both of us and greets us every time as we make the big trek to Noble Fish. Best place to go for the freshest fish and the nicest staff. Leon and Jason are great people, and my fiancé and myself love going there to chat with them and enjoy our sushi! The new modeling looks great! Keep up the great work, we will continue to come there for many years to come!
Yelp User 1: “This little place? Wow. Are ratings this high even possible?”
Yelp User 2: “Well, clearly we should get sushi.” And then your life has changed; like Studio Ghibli, indefinable, change.
Noble Fish offers a personal metamorphosis, ranging from *the* real introduction to raw fish to the active major agent in changing your diet and losing 60lbs. No seriously…it’s *that* good and I’ve lived 30+minutes away from it this entire time.
Noble Fish is so good it changed how I food. Real. Life.
Love their sushi and dynamite appetizer! My go-to for fresh sushi in the area. They’ve also expanded the size of the restaurant. There are more tables and chairs now.
As a sushi enthusiast, this is by far my favorite sushi place in metro Detroit. It is simple yet very high quality sushi. Every ingredient used tastes fresh and good quality. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, however would recommend to call ahead as there is often a long wait on weekend nights.
Noble Fish has been a staple of the Clawson, MI community for over 30 years. Opening its doors in 1984 and adding a kitchen in 1991, the tiny Japanese market and sushi bar has continued to serve their community unique Japanese products and cuisine. In 1998 Takayuki “Guchi-san” Sakaguchi became the manager and built Noble Fish into the quirky fan favorite that it is today!
Born on a tiny island in Kyuushu, Japan; Guchi-san came to the American Midwest and worked in several sushi restaurants before taking over Noble Fish. His knowledge and passion for top quality seafood put Noble Fish sushi on the map long before the sushi craze hit Michigan.
